Key Speaker At the Exporters’ Conference

Being invited to the Exporters’ Conference in Zimbabwe was a true honor for ECopia Group. The opportunity to speak, engage, and share our vision alongside leading Pan-African organizations and entrepreneurs marked an important milestone for us as a company committed to advancing African trade, innovation, and industrial growth.

A Vision Rooted in Heritage and Growth

What stood out most throughout the conference was the clear strategic direction articulated by Emmerson Mnangagwa, whose vision of Heritage as the foundation for Pan-African economic growth set the tone for the entire event. The emphasis on strengthening intra-African trade, deepening regional value chains, and accelerating export competitiveness aligns strongly with the broader ambitions of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA).

At Ecopia Group, we see a high degree of alignment between Zimbabwe’s national strategy and our own mission: to strengthen cross-continental ties and scale “Made in Africa” products and solutions into global markets. The message was clear — Africa’s growth will be driven by collaboration, industrialization, and innovation anchored in our own heritage and capabilities.

Celebrating Export Excellence

The conference culminated in the prestigious Exporter of the Year Awards Gala, an elegant evening dedicated to recognizing Zimbabwe’s top exporters. The celebration honored companies and individuals whose innovation, resilience, and performance are driving the nation’s export success.

Beyond the awards themselves, the gala symbolized something greater: confidence in Africa’s capacity to compete globally.

Looking Ahead

Our participation in the Exporters’ Conference reaffirmed our belief that Africa’s next growth chapter will be written by collaborative ecosystems — governments, enterprises, and innovators working together to unlock value across borders.

We are grateful for the opportunity to contribute to this important dialogue in Zimbabwe and look forward to deepening partnerships that advance Pan-African trade integration and sustainable economic growth.
