The Next Chapter in Our Pan-African Growth Story

Following our return from the Exporters’ Conference in Zimbabwe, Ecopia Group initiated a comprehensive strategic review of our medium-term activities across the African continent. The conference not only reinforced the strength of Zimbabwe’s export-driven agenda, but also prompted us to reassess how we can most effectively position our partnerships, capital, and expertise to contribute to sustainable, cross-continental growth.

Strategic Review and Regional Alignment

In close consultation with our broader network, including key partners in the Central and Eastern European (CEE) region and Türkiye, we undertook a structured evaluation of our next growth phase. A central component of this process was our dialogue with Joanna Mierzejewska-Rosiak, Strategic Advisor to Ecopia Group, whose perspective helped sharpen our regional integration strategy and partnership roadmap.

The outcome of this review was clear: there is strong alignment between our Pan-African growth ambitions and the capabilities, industrial depth, and innovation ecosystems of our partners in Türkiye and the CEE region. Together, we see tangible opportunity to strengthen trade corridors, facilitate technology transfer, and scale “Made in Africa” solutions through collaborative frameworks that bridge Europe, Türkiye, and Africa.

Advancing Engagement in Zimbabwe

To translate this strategic alignment into concrete action, we are planning a dedicated mission trip to Zimbabwe. The objective of this visit is to engage directly with key stakeholders across government, industry, and the private sector to advance partnership discussions and identify priority projects.

The mission will focus on:

  • Deepening institutional relationships

  • Exploring sector-specific collaboration opportunities

  • Aligning on export-oriented initiatives

  • Strengthening cross-continental supply chain integration

Zimbabwe remains a strategically important market within our Pan-African framework. Its export ambitions, industrial base, and regional connectivity position it as a strong partner in advancing broader continental integration objectives.
